Board of Directors
Kevin Wasserstein specializes in investing in, and building, medical device companies through their entire life cycle, from concept to commercialization.
Most recently, Kevin was a Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of the Neurotechnology Innovations Translator (NIT), a unique translational Center in Columbus, Ohio, which formed and developed pioneering neurotechnology companies from around the globe. In collaboration with partners and with capital and service commitments exceeding $160M, NIT provided infrastructure, funding, support and operations to accelerate the development cycle, bringing pioneering innovations to patients with potential to improve millions of lives. At MentorCatalyst, Kevin reinvented the craftsman-styled approach to working with startup healthcare teams, deeply engaging and focusing contemporaneously on a select few startup companies, providing comprehensive leadership, experience and counsel.
Prior to NIT and Mentor Catalyst, Kevin spent over a decade as a Managing Director at Versant Ventures, where he focused on investing in and building early stage medical device companies. Kevin currently serves, or has served, in board or advisory roles with companies which include:
